At Finn, we offer flexibility in your hire period, with hire periods of one day, one week or two weeks.

If you have a longer hire period in mind than the allocated brackets, contact us to discuss - we're happy to help.

How do I book?

1. Find the garment you're after within our collection, and check that it's available on the garment's calendar.

2. For one day hires, select the date of your event as your hire date. We will ensure it makes it to you ahead of your event!

3. For extended hires (one or two weeks), select the day you'd like to receive your garment as the hire date.

What date should I book for? (Local Pickup)

Select the date of your event as your hire date with the 'One day' option and we will contact you early in the week of your hire to organise collection. Usually if this is a Saturday, you're able to pick it up on the Thursday or Friday.

What date should I book for? (Postal Order)

If you live close to a capital city, simply select the One Day option and the date of your event.

If you live in a regional area, we strongly recommend the One Week booking option. Ideally select a date a few days before your event for the first date of the booking. You know as well as we do how trying rural postal services can be!

Returns (All bookings)

Your dress is due back the next business day.

Eg. If you hire a dress for a Thursday, it's due back on Friday.

Eg. If you hire a dress on a Saturday, it's due back Monday.

What date should I book for? (Postal orders)

Most of the time you can just book for 'One day'. Select the date of your event as your hire date with the 'One day' option and we will make sure it arrives to you on time.

Eg: If your event is on Saturday, select Saturday as your booking date. We will ensure the dress arrives to you prior to this date.

If however you would be unable to mail back your dress the next business day, would like to receive it sooner, or want to enjoy it for longer, select One week or two weeks, with the day you'd like to receive your garment as the hire date.

 

When will I receive it?

We aim to have your garment to you a couple of days prior to your event, just in case. This is not always possible for popular garments.

How do I return it?

You'll receive an Australia Post return satchel along with your dress. Simply take it into your nearest Australia Post outlet on the next business day, or put it in a YELLOW Express post box on any day of the week.

Please do not put your garment in a RED post box as it will not be processed within express post periods We charge a $50 late fee per business day that your dress is not delivered correctly to Australia Post or when we are notified that a parcel return has been attemped via a Red post box. This is because putting an Express parcel in a Red parcel post box voids the Express post time frames, and often means the next customer who has booked the outfit will miss out, and we will have to refund them the full cost of their hire. We don't want anyone to miss out, so please, for the love of god, NEVER RETURN IN RED!

If your town doesn't have a Yellow post box, please drop your parcel INTO the post office.

Do I clean it?

Nope! Dry cleaning is included in your hire cost, so we will do this for you when we receive the garment back.
